Lord of the Flies - Book Review

This book is about a plane that crashed down with a group of boys in it. They landed in the middle of a tropical island. Ralph and "Piggy" find a conch and use it to call in all the other boys. This book is about the boys surviving and eventually making a fire on a mountain to signal nearby ships. They eventually get rescued but, the journey wasn't easy, it was sad and at the same time fun to have no adult's around to tell them what to do.

I enjoyed this book as a teenager because I do not like adult's telling me what to do. It was a little bit slow, but if you read a lot in one shot, it will start to get interesting. so it would be fun to be stranded on an island for a little bit. Then again I would not be able to survive on my own so maybe not. This is a great classic and I recommend it to everyone! Well, until next time....

  1. The Lord of the Flies is referenced in so many of Stephen King's other novels as well as works of non-fiction. He truly loves this book and makes this particular copy a collector's special. The best part about this edition is the brilliant foreword by Stephen King. I'm a fan of Lord of the Flies and Stephen King as well so this makes it a perfect combination for me.
